Description
A creamy and comforting dish made with layers of zucchini, turkey ham, and melted cheese, all perfectly breaded and baked.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 grosses courgettes (fermes)
- 4 tranches de jambon de dinde
- 8 tranches de fromage fondant (emmental, comté ou mozzarella)
- 2 œufs
- 50 g de farine
- 100 g de chapelure
- 2 c. à s. d’huile d’olive
- Sel et poivre
- Persil frais haché (pour servir)
Instructions
- Préheat your oven to 180°C. Wash the zucchinis and cut them lengthwise into slices about 5 mm thick.
- For each « sandwich », take a slice of zucchini, add a slice of turkey ham followed by a slice of cheese, and top with another slice of zucchini.
- Prepare three plates: one for flour, one for beaten eggs (seasoned with salt and pepper), and one for breadcrumbs. Dip each sandwich into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly browned. Let rest for a few minutes, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Choose firm zucchinis for durability. Mix different cheeses for varied flavors.
