Description
Savory cheese puffs that are light and airy, perfect for gatherings and easy to make.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 œufs
- 150 g de gruyère râpé
- 150 g de farine
- 80 g de beurre
- 25 cl d’eau
- 1 c. à café de sel
Instructions
- Préheat the oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7). In a saucepan, combine water, butter cut into pieces, and salt. Heat until the butter melts and the water boils.
- Remove from heat, add flour all at once and stir with a wooden spoon until a homogeneous dough forms. Return to low heat for 1 minute to dry the dough slightly.
- Let the dough cool for a moment, then add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition until smooth. Stir in the grated gruyère until evenly combined.
- Scoop small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart. Bake for about 25 minutes without opening the oven door.
Notes
For a more pronounced flavor, mix different types of cheese like cheddar or parmesan. Use high-quality butter for richness.
