Description
A delightful fusion of traditional tiramisu and exotic kulfi flavors, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 250 grams of mascarpone cheese (at room temperature)
- 300 ml of heavy cream (whipped to stiff peaks)
- 2 tablespoons of milk (you can use sweetened condensed milk)
- 1 teaspoon of kulfi essence (or a mix of cardamom and saffron)
- 200 grams of coffee-soaked ladyfingers (or sponge cake)
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (for dusting)
- 50 grams of chopped nuts (pistachios/almonds) – optional
- Edible flowers (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy. Add the milk and kulfi essence, then gently fold using a spatula.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks, then gently fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- In a shallow dish, pour hot coffee to soak the ladyfingers. Quickly dip each biscuit in the coffee and place them in a dessert dish or individual cups.
- Once a layer of biscuits is in place, spread a generous portion of the kulfi cream on top. Repeat until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a layer of cream. Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
- Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavor combination.
Notes
For a richer tiramisu kulfi, use high-quality ingredients. Ensure the mascarpone is creamy and not too cold, and that the cream is whipped to firm peaks for a light dessert.
